Algeria – The National Office of the Higher Education Teachers Union (SAS) decided to take part in a national protest in front of the headquarters of the University of Moasqar againstthe Dean of the University Ben Tata Samir, who filed a lawsuit against professor and member of the National Office of the Union Halim Abora following calling on a general assembly of the union to discuss the conditions of university and the actions of its president. The union considered in its statement that this complaint does not surprise us because it is the only solution for those who want to rule as a dictator.” Professors decided to protest on monday in solidarity to their colleague Mr. Halim Aboura and Professor who want protest the mismanagement of the Algerian University .. . The head of the union, Mr. Kadour Shweisha, also threatened to escalate protest movements which will be determined later.
