Algeria: Al-Tassili Aviation Workers Demand Occupational Safety and Health

Algeria – Al-Tassilis workers have been forced to protest because of the severe lack of safety conditions for passengers and  the deteriorating working conditions for staff and pilots. Workers  said in a statement that the great pressure faced by employees and workers of the South, especially the lack of employment and the great negligence by the General Directorate of employees and workers of the company, is what caused them to protest. Today, many flights have been canceled, most notably Aminas, Hassi Messaoud, Hassi El-Raml, Tenveint Türkant, Ghazi El Tawil, Algiers, Constantine and Oran.
