Bahrain – A member of Services parliament Committee MP Mohammed al-Maarafi said that the committee is currently studying the articles of a new draft law on domestic workers, and that the government has referred the draft law to the House of Representatives for study and awaits the remarks of Services Committee. Al-Maarafi affirmed that the aim of the law is reinforce Bahrains bright reputation in front of the world. He also said that the committee is currently studying the articles of the draft law and putting notes to check if it needs amendment before referring it to the council for discussion and if it is approved it will be referred to the Shura Council then for the king Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for ratification.
