Egypt : Tanta Lenin workers demand their rights

Egypt – Dozens of workers of Tanta Lenin Company held a protest in front of the headquarters of the Holding Company for Spinning and Weaving, to protest against the non-payment of the settlement dues to compensate workers for the closure of the company, as only  236 workers received their full dues while 4 workers have not yet been paid. Unionist Jamal Osman is among those who was not paid he said that the organized protests against selling the company, and filed lawsuits, and got a final ruling on the return of the company to the public sector. The families of 3 dead workers have not received their dues on the pretext that they did not sign the financial compensation agreement between workers and Ministry of Planning and Holding Company. More than 100 workers demonstrated despite the presence of Police, to claim the rights of their dead colleagues, forcing a security chief to negotiate with the workers and the president of the holding company, and promised to pay the dues within one week prompting workers to leave the protest however they promised to protest again if the promise is not fulfilled.
