Algeria: More than 30 thousand professors and retired workers are deprived of their wages!

Thousands of teachers and retired workers complain about the non- payment of their salaries for more than 10 months. The lab agents also complain about the Ministry of Education, which freezes the file of promotions despite the promises of the ministry to settle their situations.

The payment of the financial dues of the retired professors has become a complex problem in the education sector due to the lack of funds, according to the sector officials, which made the payment of the dues of the education workers delayed from month to month. However, professors of the state of Djelfa did not receive their dues since 2010 amid mutual accusations between the ministerial bodies of their bad management and the bureaucracy in the payment of professors’ and workers dues, which their number reaches more than 30 thousand.
