About 25 agricultural workers were subjected to a serious work accident in“Talfif” company in “Taroudant” province last week, which was caused by suffocation with the smell of a medicine to preserve the quality of the lemon and protect it from viruses,where pesticide was first used in the laboratory.
The factorys management said that the wind caused the transferring of the pesticide to the workers, causing them suffocation. As a result, they were rushed to the local hospital Awlad Taima, where all the medical staff stationed in the city to heal the workers.
