The strike of workers and employees of the Electricity of Lebanon continues in their open-ended strike in reaction to the absence of an agreement between the trade union party and the government regarding the schedules of ranks and salaries starting from Decree No. 7410.
The strike has caused significant paralysis in many areas, which are suffering from power failures in the south, in“Al-Bekaa” and the north. It has also reduced the ability to provide water and heating in mountainous areas, as well as the problems of hospitals, medical machines and other vital sources, which providesfood. All this lead to more tension and congestion in the country.
