Taxi drivers launched a general strike on Tuesday, in “Tanta” and blocked the road in front of the security directorate in protest against the electronic taxi service of “Ober and Karim “and unlicensed tourist buses before the security forces broke up their strike and presented their complaint to the security director .
Protesters considered that the company Ober and Karim is responsible for creating an atmosphere of mistrust between the citizen and taxi, pointing out that the reason behind the low tariff of the ober taxi is because of the licensing conditions and the non-payment of the required taxes.
