The National Confederation of Mauritanian Workers (CNTM) revealed that the conditions of trade union freedoms in the country are in a black period.
The organization stressed, during the second session of its office the need to follow up with stakeholders to accelerate the organization of trade union representation and push forward the collective negotiations, which are stalled forward. The members also discussed the disturbing situation of public freedoms in the country, especially trade union freedoms and the recent serious violations, which was through the arbitrary transfer and arrests of a number of trade unionists. .
