Mauritania: An unknown fate of SNIM company for iron and workers accuse the management for being responsible

The workers of the national company for industry and mines in Mauritania, SNIM expressed their concern about the deteriorating situation that the institution is experiencing, stressing their rejection of the dark image provided by the director and the lack of transparency about the real situation in the institution, as well as, the lack of interest in workers during the last three years.

Workers asked for their involvement in all matters that concern the horizons and fate of the institution, alerting to the attempts of the administration to deprive them from their rights through the intimidation of the collapse of the company and exaggerating about costs, debts and the deterioration of iron prices, blaming the management of being the only responsible for the current status of the institution.
