Egypt: “Egypt Environmental Services’ “workers ask for their financial dues

Dozens of workers of the Egyptian Company for Environmental Services carried out a strike, asking for compensation for the end of the project, on Monday.

The company, a foreign cleaning company working on cleaning the eastern neighbourhoods of Cairo, will end its contract with the governorate of Cairo in April, but so far it has not responded to the workers requirements to guarantee their rights, which forced them to enter in a strike .

It is noteworthy that it was previously agreed with the management of the company to pay the remuneration according to the Labour Law by two months for each year, but this agreement has not been documented so far.
