Workers and journalists of Moroccos second channel organized a protest on Friday, in front of the headquarters in “Ain el-Sabaa” in Casablanca.
Protesters from the Union of Workers of the Second Channel of the Moroccan Trade Union raised slogans against the management of the channel, asking for settling their social status, denouncing their failure to honour their previous pledges and not paying social contributions to the Moroccan Vocational Pension Fund, the National Social Security Fund and the delay in payment of health insurance benefit.
The protesters also called for taking out the company from its catastrophic financial situation and to work hardly to develop a new economic model that takes into consideration the basic public service functions and their high costs, as well as the need to develop the group to meet the requirements of the public.
