Algeria: penalizing institutions that expelthe supported contract holdersCTA

The Director General of the National Employment Agency revealed that all institutions, whether public or private, that have expelled supported contract holdersCTA, after 3 years of contracting will be penalized by the, while he confirmed that the agency has integrated 100,000 workers in 2018.

Labour inspectors across the country will promise to take into consideration the institutions that expel CTA contractors after 3 years. In fact, this is a violation of the law and it is part of arbitrary dismissal which is punishable by law. These institutions will also be placed on black lists that will be deprived of access to subsidized labour force, social security cuts and employee salary support.

The National Employment Agency confirmed that the contract of employment signed with the institution was not a contract of incorporation or a temporary contract, but was an indefinite contract for the duration of the work, which did not entitle the institution to expel workers, in this framework.
