Tomorrow in Tunisia: 50 international and Arab trade union delegations participate in the international conference in support of “Al-Quds”

The Tunisian General Union of Labour(UGTT) will hold an international conference on Saturday to support the Palestinian people and support “Al-Quds” with the participation of 50 Arab and international trade union delegations.

The trade union delegations participating in the conference, which coincides with the 72th anniversary of the establishment of the Tunisian General Union of Labour(UGTT), represent several international and Arab organizations, the most important of which are the International Trade Union Confederation and the Arab Trade Union Confederation, as well as several active political figures on an Arab and international scale.

Tunisian national organizations, members of civil society groups, heads of parliamentary blocs and members of the national administrative body of the Union will also take part in the one-day event, during which the Tunisian Declaration will be announced in solidarity with “Al-Quds”.

The United Nations’ representative in Tunisia,” Diego Zorilla”, the Assistant Secretary-General of the International Trade Union Confederation, “Mamadou Diallo”, member of the Palestinian Parliament “Azzam Al-Ahmad” and the Secretary-General of thePalestine General Federation of Trade Unions, Mr. “Shaher Saad” will be present in this event. The conference will focus on reading the repercussions of the US presidents decision on “Al-Quds” and the ways to invest the international communitys support for the Palestinian people.
