The international human rights organization AFD called on the UAE authorities to immediately release Moroccan citizen “Abdel-Haii Al-Najari”, whopublished video recordings of inhumane conditions with a number of guards working for a private UAE security company.
According to the organization, Mr “Najari has been placed in a psychiatric clinic since the beginning of last month, considering his deeds as illegal and challenging the UAEs international commitments. They also asked for settling his social status, as well as enabling him and his colleagues to enjoy their rights under the UAE Labour Law and international laws. Moreover, guaranteeing his right to travel, having a passport and that the UAE has to respect the international commitments with respect to the rights of foreign workers, and speeding up amendments to the Labour Law
