Jordan Petroleum Refinery workers expressed their concern about their future and the future of their company following the decision of the Ministry of Energy to determine the date of May 19 as a deadline to terminate their relations with the Petroleum Refinery Company on the use of fuel oil, which will end the services of thousands of workers and will lead to the loss of their jobs.
The General Union of Jordanian Petroleum and Chemical workers has proceeded to all the administrative and public bodies to send a letter to the King of Jordan asking him to intervene in order to save the company by opening the way for it to complete the fourth expansion project, so that it will be able to continue and absorb its cadres and employees who are threatened by the loss of their livelihood.
