The founding body of the trade union of employees in government hospitals and unions of the south and the north, together with “Rafik Al Hariri “governmental hospital trade union, called for intensive participation in the protest march that is expected to be held next Wednesday at “Riadh Al Solh “square, which will prompt the closure of all government hospitals.
The government hospital workers ask for settling a number of accumulated professional and social files, which have not been suspended and have not been answered by the concerned and responsible authorities.
Unions stressed that the general strike will maintain the provision of minimum medical services to patients in hospitals and receive urgent and extreme cases only.
