The social situation in the project of the school canteen in the governorate of Port Said by the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation is witnessing a state of congestion and discontent after what has been discussed on the abolition of school canteen, starting from the second semester.
Workers complain about the repeated delays in their salaries and about ignoring their demands about the increase of their wages. This has affected their living conditions and caused the declining of their purchasing power. Moreover, the administrative side has also cancelled the procedures of establishment and thus, could dispense them, as well as the absence of occupational health and safety regulations.
