The National Union of Education and Training Workers (INPAV) has announced the start of a national strike, where its date and duration will be determined within the framework of coordination among trade unions, in order to resolve the file of the pension law, labour law file, purchasing power file, social dialogue file and trade unions’ freedom file.
The unions accuse the government of continuing to block the doors of social dialogue on the demands raised and foradopting a strategy of provocative systematic in retreating from the freedoms of trade union, usingrepression, the tone of threat and intimidation as a means to silence the employees and workers. Moreover, restricting on their representatives to claim their legitimate rights and delays in dealing with educational issues as well as thedisrespect of the agreements concluded.
