Morocco: 13,000 agricultural female workers are working in Spanish fruit farms this year

The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Integration announced the beginning of the process of leaving female workers with work permits for Spain in April 2018, estimated at 13 workers.

This action comes within the framework of the labour agreement signed between Morocco and Spain on July 25, 2001. The Spanish Embassy requested support for the operation of 11,000 agricultural female workers for agricultural companies in the governance of“Huelva” to harvest red fruit for three months at a net wage of 37 euros per day, where operators are responsible for the transportation and accommodation of female workers.
