An alert in Morocco: The Moroccan Trade Union launches a campaign of one month against the infringement of trade union’s rights and the violation of workers gains

The Moroccan Trade Union launched a national campaign to face the attacks on freedoms of unions from February  10th to March 10th.

The Moroccan Trade Union considers that the government, through its attempts to pass the draft law on the right to strike, wants to put an end to the trade union’s rights and violate the constitution and all the international conventions that affirm that the right to strike is an integral part of the trade union rights.

The Moroccan Trade Union also denounces the growing aggression on trade union representatives and the campaigns that are targeting them to fire them from their works, as well as the governments determination, through various means, to disrupt mechanisms of social dialogue in a move that threatens workers gains and aims to weaken the Moroccan trade union movement.
