Both specialized doctors and general doctors trade unions in Mauritania announced their entry into a general strike on a gradual basis starting from February 26, pointing out that they were forced to take this decision after the depletionof all possible solutions with the ministry, which did not deal positively with the professional and social files set for negotiation.
The two unions accused the ministry of misleading the public opinion and the workers of the sector in particular, making them believe that all their demands are achieved, confirming that they have nothing with the agreement between the ministry and the trade union organizations operating in the sector. This will not discourage the strike until the demands are met.
