A strike in Lebanon with calls for introducing salaries and ranks system

LEBANON— The trade union coordination commission in Lebanon organized a strike that covered the different areas in the country. Protesters called for listing the salaries and ranks system on the upcoming Cabinet session, noting that they will fight and keep their demands until they are responded to.

Head of the private teachers syndicate Nemeh Mahfouz, said there was several attempts to prevent teachers from taking part in the strike, but these attempts failed.
