Egypt –The Centre for Trade Union and Workers’ Services (CTUWS) launched a campaign calling for freedom of association. The campaign called Freedom of association…Social justice” will run until May 1st. The campaign will include holding several conferences and workshops in different labor areas.
The campaign calls for abolishing all legal restrictions on workers’ right to form independent trade unions and enacting the freedom of association law.
The campaign also advocates for the right of trade unions in the public sector to ensure their independence.
