IRAQ— Employees at the Najaf Investment Commission denounced the use of force by security guards to disperse their protest.
Several employees were protesting to call for disbursing their salaries, noting that they have not received their wages for the past 13 months.
“All protesting employees were attacked and six of them were dragged and taken to the police station,” one of the employees told Al Sumaria.
He explained that the workers have protested 16 times for the same purpose, but no one is responding to their demands.
