Algeria – National Federation for municipal workers decided to organize a national strike tomorrow to pressure the government to respond to their demands.
The National Federation expressed their anger at the government for ignoring their demands as they asked the government to review the general law of public employment, and unify the special laws of workers and municipal employees as well as respect the trade union rights and the right to strike, and to integrate temporary workers and contractors in permanent positions.
