Local authorities in the Inzman Ait Melloul region near the Moroccan city of Agadir announced the registration of an epidemiological cluster in one of the industrial units that caused the infection of 108 workers with the Coronavirus, in a preliminary outcome.
According to the Moroccan Hespress news site, the industrial unit, located in the industrial district of Ait Melloul, which has at least 250 workers, of whom laboratory tests’ results revealed that 108 had COVID-19.
It is noteworthy that a number of employers in a number of Moroccan regions lagged in implementing health protection conditions despite numerous warnings from Moroccan unions.
Media reports did not specify, however, the responsibility for the exacerbation of the epidemiological cluster in Inzman Ait Melloul.
