The results of laboratory analyzes issued this evening, Monday, confirmed that 50 workers were infected at once with the new Coronavirus in an industrial facility in Ben Arous (south of the Tunisian capital).
The Director of Preventive Health at the Regional Department of Health in Ben Arous announced to the Tunis Africa News Agency (TAP) that this evening, the regional administration was informed by the competent authorities of the Ministry of Health about the results of the survey carried out by the investigation teams, which relates to the collection of samples from the work environment of the girl who was confirmed to be infected on Saturday with Coronavirus.
The investigation teams had begun to conduct a series of laboratory tests on workers in two different industrial units, immediately after the confirmation of two COVID-19 cases of two women working with them on the day before Saturday, the tests of all those in contact with one of them were negative, while the initial results related to the second were positive, reaching the limits of 50 injuries. One, awaiting completion of tests for the rest of the workers who are working on the quota system.
