The trade union council of “Ridal” for electricity, water distribution and liquid purification services of the Moroccan trade union issued a statement to the public opinion, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the policy, which looked down at the workers efforts and underestimated the rules of social partnership. It also jumped to the basis of professional relations, declaring their rejection of negotiating trade union principles and its refusal of 2018/2020 protocol project.
The trade union council considered that the protocol was lacking the culture of contracting and was formulated without taking into account the balance in the financial distribution of the various segments of workers and cadres. It also included a deviation from the constitution in terms of equality of opportunity and transparency of employment and in terms of deliberate and systematic exclusion of the children and retirees of “Ridal”. Moreover, the lack of any pledges from the “Ridal” management to improve the working conditions of the company employees.
The council decided to reject the protocol project in its current version, calling on the administration to expedite the opening of dialogue again to rectify the shortcomings and imbalances, stressing the need to continue the mobilization of all the militants to meet every targeting of the gains and rights of users, cadresand retirees. Moreover, impose a real dialogue leading to real results and face all the disregard and neglect of the rights and benefits of workers with the usual rigor of struggle.
