Tens of workers, who were expelled from the «Saudi Oger company asked the Saudi authorities to pay their compensation and financial dues.

Protesters gathered outside the Saudi embassy in Beirut, holding banners and slogans calling for a solution to their cause.

It is noteworthy that “Saudi Oger”, which is wholly owned by the Hariri family and is based in Riyadh, employs about 40,000 workers from 30 nationalities. It owns the biggest real estate projects in Saudi Arabia. At the end of 2014, the company began to suffer from financial problems that reached the point of inability to pay workers salaries. Moreover, it closed its business in Saudi Arabia, last summer after that the royal family cut sponsoring the luxury construction projects.
